Luv this app as you can review the words several times. It could be used for word of the day or as a transition/ password for transition in a classroom setting!

I knew all of the words already, but some of the origins they give and finer points of definition are interesting. I also test at 100th percentile on most verbal tests so may be more challenging for others. They are a good selection of words one could use in day to day language, but a step anove the usual run of the mill words we all use.

A good one you can boost your vocabulary from.

So far the best I have discovered thus far. Shame its not prominent when searching for vocabulary apps in the app store. Makes you question the validity of many of the top chosen apps :/

Once I bought the Pack 1 set of words, the Base words were eliminated. I could not access any of the 40 words from the Base Pack. The developer responded that this is a known issue. To resolve, close the app and reopen.

Worked fine and thought me a lot until the first update. It keeps getting stuck does not open even after re-installing it.

A really great app to increase your vocabulary and to know appropriate contexts to use those new words

Love this but need more than 3 packs.

This app is very beneficial in helping my fiancé and I relearn words after having had brain surgery. His speech therapist even downloaded it after I showed it to her!

Fun little vocabulary builder. It has a great definition which includes usage examples to really help you learn how to properly use a word you dont often hear colloquially. It reviews after a time as well so you dont forget the word immediately. It has ads and you buy more word packs, which caused me to drop a star but great overall. Would recommend.

Vocab is cool!!!

Has a really nice vocabulary list, the app also helps you memorize the words and it gives you their origin. Would recommend it for the kids to build up a good vocabulary.

The interface and concept are good, but some the discussions of the words are misleading and not really idiomatic or natural English--almost as if written by a non-native speaker or at least someone to whom the words arent wholly natural to use. Also, there should be an option to bypass words you already know very well. I played for about half an hour without encountering any words that were unfamiliar.

It does a pretty good job teaching the words and helping you remember them, but one has to pay for more words once the initial ones are completed. (Thus the four stars) overall a good app.

App is a great tool to help increase your vocabulary.

So far its a fun app to improve vocabulary.
